The local bus company with the big heart
Go To Town is a local bus service, started in 2016, to provide links for some of the most isolated rural communities in West Norfolk to get into King’s Lynn. We set out to provide a comprehensive range of journey opportunities, including to get to school, college and work, as well as hospital visits and town centre shopping and appointments.
We now provide local bus services in and around Downham Market, Docking, Wisbech, Swaffham & Kings Lynn.
Charity benefits
From small beginnings we have established a network of routes all over West Norfolk. We are pleased to be part of the registered charity, West Norfolk Community Transport Project Ltd, which means that any financial surplus we make from running these ‘ordinary’ bus routes is channelled into maintaining our dial a bus and other specialist services for those of our clients who cannot use ordinary buses, whether by virtue of their own circumstances or because there are no such routes where they live.
