We have carried out a review of all of our rural fares, which for some of our routes has not happened in many years!
Our £4.50 special rate for the 21 & 22 (King’s Lynn to Docking and Great Massingham areas respectively), introduced in September 2017, will be increased to £5.00 capped return from 7th January, which we feel is still value for money, as it is still 80p less than we were charging in 2016-17.
Fares on our service 60, 61 & 65, in the Downham Market and Wisbech areas, proved more complicated to sort out, as the fares from Stagecoach days were different from our own. We have reviewed all of the tickets and in some instances the fare has gone down, but in others it has increased, but they average out at a 3% increase.
Our 47 service has changed in route, opening up more communities to a direct link with King’s Lynn, and we are confident that this will lead to more passengers to access the service. We have, nonetheless, put fares up on the existing sections of route.
These increases will come into effect from Monday 7 January 2019. We are not changing any of our King’s Lynn town fares. We want to thank you all for your continued support, and look forward to seeing you all in the New Year!
