Air quality – do your bit to help improve it

November 27th, 2018

Consultants working for the County and Borough Councils have recently reported that the town centre and Gaywood road networks do not meet National Air Quality Strategy targets. The Borough has the third greatest increase in emissions in the UK measured between 2005 and 2013, and it has the highest per person in Norfolk. It currently stands at 29% higher than the Norfolk average and 34% higher than the national average.

Their research suggests this due to transportation, and this is where you can help. Not using your car for just one day a week, has the potential to make a big difference. Walking, cycling or using one of our Go To Town green – blue – buses are a real alternative for you to help the environment.
